Neuer Vorstand
New board

The new board was elected at the Annual General Members Meeting in May 2023.

We've now had a few sessions and are full of energy to continue running the IWA and to organize wonderful moments with a lot of fun for all members!
It is wonderful to see and experience ideas unfolding and being realized, inspiring and enriching many of us with happiness!

Cheerful greetings

Cooking Event
"Allerlei Genuss"

"Allerlei Genuss" was once again a special treat! Preparing the different courses in the wonderful test kitchen at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg and then sitting down to enjoy what we produced was great fun as well as educational. We very much hope to be able to offer this event again soon!

Outdoor Event
Kale Walking Tour with Bosseln

The weather couldn't have been better for the IWA's first "Kale Walking Tour with Bosseln". Both teams had brought snacks, mulled wine and schnaps and set out to determine the winner between team yellow and team red in a fun and friendly atmosphere! In "Bosseln", the teams take turns throwing a little ball over a fixed distance with as few throws as possible. The participants were quite inventive regarding their throwing strategy and sometimes, natural obstacles would get in the way... After two and a half hours, we ended up at the Grüner Jäger restaurant and enjoyed some traditional Northern German kale dishes. It was a friendly and fun gathering

Happy Hour
Happy Hour at La Vigna

There is a lot of light at the end of the tunnel and we're delighted that we've been able to re-start our monthly Happy Hours! Like before, these are held at La Vigna in Braunschweig on the second Wednesday of the month.

Event
English Tea Time

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! Given the fact that a cooperation between Brexit and the pandemic has made trips to Britain quite a bit more difficult, it was especially nice to feel as if we’d been beamed to the island for an English Afternoon Tea complete with cucumber sandwiches, scones & clotted cream, lemon curd tarts, shortbread and home-baked biscuits not to speak of the tea selection and a glass of bubbly to round it all off. Thank you, Andrea, for an afternoon of delicious treats and lively conversation!
